Colon Cleanser Supplements, Colon Cleansing Techniques

January 5th, 2010

The five major ways by which the colon can be cleansed can be named as follows, Colon Hydrotherapy which is also know as colonic irrigations, Enemas, Herbal supplements, Laxatives, Oxygen-based Cleansers

The acai berry and colon cleanse diet have both been a hot commodity to many dieters. The high antioxidant content in the acai gives you a boost of energy to the body and helps the body burn unnecessary fats. The colon cleanser removes hardened fecal matter and harmful bacteria.

There are various medicines that help your colon properly dispose of your body wastes, just like Bowtrol. Bowtrol is an herbal colon cleanser that is used to clean your colon; medicines like these can be called laxatives. Bowtrol is made up of all natural ingredients that are not harmful in the body unless you use it improperly.

Herbal colon cleansing products main purpose is to re-absorbs the water and nutrients into people’s bodies and also gets rid of the toxic wastes by means of standard bowel actions. Whilst the bowel is impacted, a number of problems show up for instance ulcerative colitis, hemorrhoids, constipation as well as colon cancer.

One of the things that allows the colon to do its job of eliminating waste is good bacteria.  These bacteria feed on certain things inside the body and they have created mutual working relationship with the colon.  Some supplements introduce more of these “good bacteria” into the colon.

Typically, you should do the Master Cleanse for at least 10 days to get full benefits. As a form of modified fast, the 10 days will give your body plenty of time to detoxify itself while it’s taking a rest from all of the digestive work that’s required when you are eating regular food. For these 10 days, the lemonade and maple syrup drink should provide some nutritional support to your fast and that can certainly help make sure you stick to it.

The benefits of a hydro colonic cleanse are well known, but man they are a pain in the butt to receive. In fact most people consider them downright embarrassing. After all who wants to have a hose shoved up their butt and then have liquid pumped in it to perform the cleansing? Definitely not the majority of people. The good news is that there are much easier and less embarrassing ways to perform a colonic cleanse without having to visit a specialist office, have something shoved up your butt, and a liquid pumped inside of you.

There exist a large number of herbal supplements that are useful in colon cleansing. However, it is important to be aware of product that purport to be herbal but are otherwise. A large number of manufacturers know “herbal” sells and are labeling everything as herbal. Herbal supplements are either administered orally or introduced into the colon through the anus through enema. In enema water mixed with herbal supplements is introduced into the colon using an enema kit.

Has anyone tried the Acai berry and colon cleanse diet?

May 12th, 2011

I have seen a lot of press on the net about the tremendous weight loss people have had using these supplements – has anyone tried it?

I’m currently taking 2 Acai Berry tablets everyday while on a low calorie diet and have lost 9lbs in 1 week. But I’m doing alot of exercise too. I’m don’t believe it’s making me lose weight but as soon as I take it I get a lot of energy that really helps me work out harder. They also have reduced my appetite and I barely feel hungry. I would recommend them I feel much more energetic.

Acai Berry and colon cleanse diet?

April 13th, 2011

Is this real or a gimmick for money? If it’s real is it safe for a breastfeeding mother?

Acai berry is a very healthy product and will be good for your health. The problem is, that is does nothing for weight loss, despite all the claims.

So in short, do not waste your money buying it as a weight loss product.

In fact, I would advise you not to be taking any diet pills while breast feeding and so soon after a pregnancy. No matter how "natural" the company claims the supplements to be.

Is the colon cleanse and acai berry diet safe for Tweens and can you get it at a store instead of online?

April 11th, 2011

So I need to loose a couple extra lbs bcuz I hav a wedding that I’m in in next month and I wanted to know if this works, if it’s safe for 7th graders, if u can get it at a store and if it will be an inconvenience during school? Thanks icon smile Is the colon cleanse and acai berry diet safe for Tweens and can you get it at a store instead of online?

It may not be safe for you and even if it is, it would be a waste of your parents’ money.
First of all, the scientific research on acai berries has not found them to have any special benefits for weight loss or, for that matter, any other health benefits beyond those that other kinds of berries have. But acai berry supplements are far more expensive than other kinds of berries you buy at the supermarket because of myths that people selling the supplements have spread about how they can help you achieve miraculous weight loss.
Colon cleansing also doesn’t help you lose weight. That’s because the body absorbs most calories before they reach the large intestine. So colon cleansing doesn’t reduce your calorie intake
Also, there have been numerous nasty side effects associated with colon cleansing, including vomiting, dizziness, infections and perforation of the bowel.
Dieting, in general, can also be unsafe for someone your age. While your body is still developing, you especially need to make sure you get enough calories and nutrients. So just try to eat a healthy diet and get regular exerise.

Has anyone tried the Acai Berry and Colon Cleanse Diet?

March 12th, 2011

I would like to know if anyone personally or a person close to them has used this diet? Did it work for them? I am currently exercising 4-6 days a week for 45 minutes-1hr. I am not seeing as much results as I would like. I WILL NOT BE ORDERING THIS ONLINE, but if I do try the program I will try it from our local Natural Food Store.
Again has anyone PERSONALLY USED these products together. I not want to hear a rant etc. I know there are a lot of scams out there, but I am just curious if anyone has PERSONALLY USED THIS COMBINATION; and if it did or did not show any results?

This whole acai berry thing is a scam.
Acai berries are high in antioxidants.
A diet high in antioxidant foods can increase your metabolism.
An increase in metabolism can burn more calories.
More calories burned can result in weight loss.
Acai berries cause weight loss!
That is the big "stretch" these con artists are selling.
Acai berries don’t have any more antioxidants in them than regular blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, or blackberries. At 10 times the price because they are "exotic".
The "cleanse" that usually come with them contain nothing more than psyllium husk powder to help you poop more. This can deplete healthy bacteria and enzymes in the digestive system. And you can buy a quart jar of it for $10 at the grocery, not 60 tablets.
There is no such thing as a "fat burner ".
Burning more calories than you consume is the only fat burner.
None of these weight loss supplements guarantee anything unless you establish a healthy diet and exercise program.
So why not just establish a healthy diet and exercise program and keep your money?
You are spending somewhere between $2 and $4 per day on products that are not approved or guaranteed to do anything!
The same "stretch of the imagination" applies to the green tea, maqui berry, hoodia, moyoberry, gojiberry, fruta planta, and african mango seed extract pills out there.
That kind of money pays for a great gym membership.
The only weight loss supplement I recommend is a basic multivitamin.
A healthy diet high in both soluble and insoluble fiber is the only safe way there is.

If I sound like I am going off it is because I am tired of seeing people get ripped off!
And if you are still going to try it you can get the exact same product at any pharmacy for less than $20.
